My hall of fame, where celebrities whose style has me head over heels get to live.
What can I say – she’s one of the most attractive people I’ve ever seen! The striking eyebrows, the mischievous come-hither eyes, and a body just built to have really cool clothes draped all over it. I swear that I would buy things from ASOS just because she’s the one modelling them and making them look irresistible. And she was second-choice for Alice in Tim Burtons’ Alice in Wonderland. True story.
Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan
Gorgeous individually, but infinitely better as a pair – a double-pack of vintagey British loveliness, wrapped up in kitschy old-fashioned girly outfits. And just imagine being a stunning beauty and style icon yourself, then having another such star as your best friend! I love them I love them I love them.
I can’t believe this girl. She’s 13 years old, and yet wears Proenza Schouler and Chanel! And not just regular Chanel, but their cruise/resort collection for 2011! When I was thirteen I barely even knew about Topshop, let alone what a cruise collection was. I was still wearing exclusively jeans and trainers. And here Chloë is, rocking that Karl Lagerfield dress on the red carpet – and looking totally amazing. Hats off to her: for the charming good looks, the incredibly stylish pose and frock, and for her generally enviable life.
Arriving for a television interview in New York wearing this highly covetable Burberry stud sleeve trench and a pretty Carven dress. Look at those legs!!
Launching her make up collection for pale girls – Dainty Doll at Harrod’s. Again this gives me great hope that the English Rose look will no longer be frowned upon. Also, I think I NEED that skirt in my life. Nicola has a great vintagey look that I’m always spotting (and drooling over) in magazines and on TV. Good for her, breaking the Girls Aloud mould, which let’s be honest, can be downright chavvy and trashy at times.
Christina arrives at the 2010 Emmy Awards looking like a complete bombshell in this gorgeous lavender coloured dress with feathered sleeves. This fine lady gives hope to all us gals with her shape – hope that one day being a twig won’t be the only acceptable body type for fashion.
